Unnecessary Need Of Wanting To Be Accepted!!!

Hello Everyone!!!

               I trust you all are doing amazing. Wow, I can't believe how fast the year 2017 is almost over. It still amazes me how far I've come and how much I've grown though I still have a lot of growing to do. I remember as a little girl, I always wanted to be accepted by everyone for whatever reasons I had no idea. I would go out of my way to make the people around me feel special in the name of wanting their acceptance or be a part of their lively wood. As growing up, I then started to realize how much I put others needs and happiness before mines. Little to none I began to suffer within but always had a smile on my face to make an appearance. As the days and months went on, it became more and more challenging having to keep up with it at the same time losing myself in the process. It then dawned on me that those same people only cared when it was beneficial to them. You start to realize its okay not to be afraid to standout and be different.

             Long story short, one great woman (RIP Grandma) made me realize that life is too short to cater to others needs then forget all about yours and happiness. Never try to be anyone else but be the best "me" I can be for the ones that truly cares will understand and always be there for the ride. The reality is that in life, one has to get in touch within themselves and realize he/she is good enough with or without the acceptance of others. I learned the ability to teach me how to love myself unconditionally no matter what flaws and traits exist. In all at the end of the day its you who has to hold yourself and make sure you're okay. Knowing some people will like you for no reason and some will dislike you for no reason, but who you choose to spend most thoughts, efforts and time on depends on how much you Love yourself. It gets to a point in time that the only acceptance one needs to be working on is a relationship with God, and trust everything will fall in place with the right people who're meant to be a part of your life will without a doubt... P.S. Don't get it twisted for that little girl who was always afraid is all grown up and living life the best she can though she still has a long way to go and will make mistakes but she's got God and people that truly loves, cares and appreciate her heart with all her goofy craziness self.!!!

Hello Everyone,          Happy New Year loves! I hope you all had an amazing holidays and are enjoying the new year so far. Beyond happy is understatement how grateful I am to still be alive and given another chance for new beginnings. NYC In Good Company

     Aye, I finally got the chance to visit New York City for the first time and I must say I had a great time even though it was just for a weekend. Went to support a friend that’s also my big sister from another on her first ever event she put together. Sip & Slay by Stylebywillie which the outcome was on a whole other level with great company. I got the chance to learn so much from each individual in attendance and how they’re about working hard and smart to secure that bag (money).       In the mix of successful young black women and men who are about their business and how to make it even bigger whereby their children’s children next generations won’t have to suffer or lack anything at all.
